Privacy Policy
Your story
should not reveal your identity.
Love Survivor does not require registration or login. Game progress, achievements, and settings are primarily stored on your device. To understand actual retention and level difficulty, we process first-party anonymous operational statistics that are not linked to your name, email address, or game account. You can turn this off at any time.
1. Scope and Operator
This Policy applies to lovesurvivor.com, play.lovesurvivor.com, the future mobile release of Love Survivor: Zodiac Crisis, and community.lovesurvivor.com once community services are enabled. The project operates under the ATMOMENT brand. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
2. Data We Process
The Game
- Your selected partner gender and zodiac sign, saved game data, match history, achievements, audio settings, and a random identifier used to generate a sharing code. This data is currently stored in your browser or the app's local storage on your device.
- Certificates, images, and links that you choose to generate or share. Unless you separately submit them to us, this content is generated on your device.
- The current version does not require your name, phone number, date of birth, contacts, or precise location, and there are no player accounts for the game.
Anonymous Operational Statistics
- When first enabled, the browser randomly generates an anonymous installation ID. A separate session ID is generated for each visit. The server stores only SHA-256 hashes of these two IDs, not the original IDs.
- We record visits and active time, campaign attribution parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign only), selected zodiac sign and partner gender, day reached, internal event and option IDs, whether you were found out, the ending/cause of death, and sharing results. We use this data to calculate visitor numbers, return visits, funnels, completion rates, and difficulty distributions.
- The analytics system does not upload event-card text, player free-form text, names, email addresses, advertising identifiers, contacts, precise location, full referrer URLs, browser fingerprints, or user-agent strings. IP addresses are also not written to the analytics database. CDN and security infrastructure may still process technical logs as described below.
Website and Infrastructure
To deliver web pages, maintain security, and troubleshoot issues, hosting services, servers, and CDN/security providers may process basic technical logs such as IP addresses, browser and device types, request times, pages visited, errors, and security events.
Contact and the Future Community
When you email us, we receive your email address and message content. Once the community launches, we may process registration email addresses, usernames, posts, comments, reports, blocking relationships, and moderation records. We will display this Policy and the community terms before collecting that data and will provide an account-deletion feature.
3. How We Use Data
- Provide, save, and restore game functionality;
- Measure visits, activity, return visits, level funnels, completions, and causes of death to improve difficulty and the product experience;
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues;
- Respond to support, privacy, deletion, and infringement requests;
- Review community submissions with explicit authorization and adapt eligible stories into game content after anonymizing them;
- Fulfill obligations required by applicable law and platform rules and protect rights.
Authorization to create event cards: Ordinary forum posts are not automatically eligible for adaptation into the game. After accepting the Terms of Service, a user may use the “Create Event Card” or “Edit Event Card” feature and click “Submit.” By submitting, the user expressly authorizes adaptation of that event card for the game. The scope of the license, user warranties, and treatment of released content are described in Section 4 of the Terms of Service.
4. Sharing, Sale, and Third Parties
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use anonymous statistics for cross-app advertising tracking. Cloudflare provides infrastructure for the website, CDN, security, edge analytics endpoints, and analytics database. Other data is processed by service providers only as necessary for hosting, email, or future community services, or disclosed when required by law or to protect users and service security. Before introducing advertising, crash reporting, or new third-party SDKs, we will update this Policy and our app-store data disclosures accordingly.
5. Retention and Deletion
Local game data remains until you clear site data, delete the app, or your device's operating system removes it. Raw anonymous operational events are retained for no more than 180 days and then deleted. Aggregated statistics that do not contain installation IDs may be retained indefinitely. Technical logs are retained only as long as needed for security, operations, and legal purposes. Support emails and community data are retained as needed to handle requests, maintain security, and fulfill legal obligations. When an account is deleted, data directly associated with it is deleted or anonymized. Game adaptations that were lawfully licensed and no longer identify an individual may continue to be retained.
For instructions, see Account & Data Deletion.
6. Your Choices and Rights
The game's start page includes an “Anonymous Analytics: On/Off” control. Turning it off immediately stops new analytics and clears the anonymous analytics ID stored on your device. Clearing site data or deleting the app has the same effect. Because the game has no accounts and the server does not retain original anonymous IDs, hashed events collected before you opted out generally can no longer be linked to you and will be automatically deleted within the 180-day retention period. You may also request access to, correction, export, or deletion of personal data that we can identify and hold, or object to or withdraw consent for processing where withdrawal remains possible. Statutory rights vary by region, and we will handle requests under applicable law.
7. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the local age of digital consent. Registration for the future community and submissions of real-life partner stories will be available only to users aged 18 or older. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information, please contact us to have it deleted.
8. Security, International Transfers, and Policy Updates
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Service providers may process data outside the user's region, and we will implement safeguards required by applicable law. For material changes to this Policy, we will update the date on this page and provide reasonable notice.
